Cost and buying

What does ERP cost in Saudi Arabia? Compare year one and renewal

A clear way to compare Saudi ERP quotes: subscription, setup, migration, training, integrations, support, and renewal.

By the SmartPro team

An advertised price is a starting point, not the cost of running the system in your business. Two quotes with the same monthly price can look very different once setup, migration, training, and support are included. Before asking what ERP costs, define what you need to run and request a written quote for that scope.

There is no single price that fits every company. Users, branches, modules, the state of your existing data, and required integrations determine the implementation work and cost.

Separate software price from implementation cost

Ask each vendor to break its quote into comparable items:

  • Subscription or licence: modules, users, branches, and usage limits.
  • Setup: accounts, permissions, tax settings, and core reports.
  • Migration: customers, products, opening balances, and data cleaning.
  • Training, devices, integrations, and support after launch.
  • Annual renewal, possible increases, and the cost of exporting data when leaving.

A two-line comparison worksheet

First-year cost = 12 months of subscription + setup + migration + training + required devices and integrations. Second-year cost = renewal + support and any extra integrations or capacity. Note whether tax is included in each quote so that you are comparing like with like.

Put the service scope beside the number: who imports the data, who checks opening balances, how many training sessions are included, and when billing begins. A written answer beats a verbal promise.

Do not buy modules you will not use yet

Start with operations causing the most delay or errors, perhaps sales, stock, and accounting. Add other modules when the team has a demonstrated need. But do not split one workflow across several cheap tools without counting the time and mistakes involved in moving data between them.

Get a quote based on a demonstration

Give the vendor your branch and user counts, required modules, data volume, and current integrations. After a live demonstration, ask for an implementation scope and clear renewal cost. Compare vendors against the same scenario so the decision stands up to scrutiny inside your company.

We recommend including SmartPro in your quote comparison if you want sales, stock, accounting, and operations connected. Review the published starting prices, then book a demonstration and request a written final quote for your actual scope. If the functions and full cost fit, use SmartPro instead of assembling disconnected tools.
